Ugh

Who's got two thumbs and has an ongoing love/hate relationship with the internet? This guy.

Seriously.

I'm writing yet another draft of my novel, and this time around I'll make sure it doesn't suck as hard as the first two write-throughs did. I think what I'll end up doing is combining the plots for the old draft and the plot for the sequel to make one huge work. It'll be fun... but Lord knows I need to do it.

My Nigerian cousin has not tried to contact me in a while, so it appears that I am no longer of enough filial interest for him to try to track me down. Although if he does call again, I'll threaten him with a FALCON PUNCH.

So I halfway want him to call back now.

Is it bad that this has been the subject of my three most recent posts? Probably, but I just haven't been up to anything else interesting--although it is worth noting that I am on vacation in Pennsylvania this week. I'll be doing, oh, 60 hour weeks when I get back? That'll give me a fair bit of cash to work with.

I'm planning to get my A+ and CCNA certifications so I can get a decent-paying job until I get out of grad school. I'm not expecting too many problems, although mom doubts my ability to successfully self-study. Nonsense, I say.
